One thing I know about pain is that we all go through it at one point in our lives. The other thing I know about pain is that it can take the strongest person and make them feel all alone. I have over 10 years in the helping profession. During my tenure, I have experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings with people of all ages, and I am confident in my ability to help you. I have over 18 years of experience as a Clinical Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Team Leader and Intake Clinical Worker. I have always been a people’s person and a believer in Evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral Therapy. My vast experience and understanding of human behaviors put me in an unique position for being the voice for the “voiceless”, and having a keen insight into understanding of their thoughts and feelings.

Starting the journey of counseling can be intimidating and overwhelming, but it can be one of the greatest investments you will ever make - yourself. I strive to create an open environment where each client can feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and concerns. My counseling approach is person centered, with a focus on building a therapeutic relationship between the client and myself. I utilize techniques from cognitive behavior theory to build self-awareness and control over emotions. I work with adults, specifically experiencing grief, anxiety, and depression, as well as kids of all ages utilizing play therapy. I look forward to helping you grow.


Angela Cinadar, LPC

I have been in practice for over 22 years. My experience out of grad school entailed working with children and families. I then spent a number of years doing solution focused brief therapy via employee assistance programs for local and national companies. More recently, I worked at an integrated primary care office providing outpatient therapy for mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety and PTSD. I also provided chemical dependency treatment for opiate and alcohol addiction. I recently completed training in EMDR and obtained my CAADC.

My experiences include being a chaplain working with individuals in the community, first responders, veterans and working on a local crisis response team. I have over 6 years working with individuals and groups with trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. My experience includes training groups and individuals in resiliency and coping skills. Coordinating services and referrals for individuals and families.

After graduating from Wayne State University with a master's in counseling in 2009, I have been working with folks in a therapeutic manner. I have spent most of my career with school aged 5-18. Recently I have discovered how much I enjoy assisting people of all ages and specifically in the areas of relationships, anxiety, and depression. I believe building a relationship and rapport with clients is extremely important in this therapeutic process. I also believe that we are all experiencing challenges and need a positive outlet to figure out and express ourselves.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in 2007. I am a board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have been providing therapy services since 2011. I believe in the integrity of the therapeutic experience and will help clients in their social, behavioral and emotional growth.

Sometimes in life we all need someone to help us process through life, emotions, and learn how to cope in a non-judgmental environment. I would love to help you on your journey. I have a MA in counseling from Oakland University and am a fully licensed professional. I currently work with children and adults with a variety of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, trauma, and self care. Couples and family counseling is my favorite area to assist in, with bringing a balance and hope back to relationships.

Fortunately, there are individuals who dedicate their lives to assisting others throughout each and every process. I am a professional with several years of military experience and a background in Medically Assisted Substance Use Treatment. I have worked with others through their journey to recovery along with assessing and treating individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and substance use disorders. I view the counseling process as a way in which any individual, group, or family can work with a professional to create a safe place that fosters growth and healing. I strive to provide opportunities for each individual to learn and gain the tools they desire in order to live a more genuine and healthy lifestyle. I see my role as the professional to become an additional support system, coach, confidant and guide through your journey.

I have worked with individuals and their families at Pathways2 since 2020 and with students and their families in the public school systems since 2010. In my experiences I have worked with people struggling with a range of disorders including, and not limited to Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Upon request, I provide exploration into spiritual matters.

I obtained my Masters in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I also have a second Masters in Family Studies. I have over 14 years of working with families. I truly see myself as a change agent as I assist with clients’ journey of healing and self-discovery. I work with children 2-17, as I also have experience with children specifically in the area of trauma. I also work with adults as well. I provide both individual and family therapy. I assist clients to work through various issues and have an eclectic approach to therapy. I look forward to helping you through your journey of healing.

I have 6+ years of experience working in the mental health field. My experiences include collaborative work with children ages 2-16 who have been diagnosed with Autism, their parents, Board Certified Behavioral Analysts, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists to provide personalized behavior therapy. My other experiences include evaluating IEP for personalized academically based support to the same 2-16 age group.

I began my career as a family service counselor working with youth to integrate them back into their homes. This work experience truly fueled my passion to continue working with youth in many capacities. Currently I work with students in the secondary school setting. I am very dedicated to helping youth reach their full potential in life. Even while working as a school counselor, I continue to provide individual and group counseling services to children in need. With over 15 years of experience helping youth with issues such anger management, family relationship problems, peer conflict, depression, anxiety, grief and loss and low self esteem.
